Art thieves.

So now I am pissed. I recently used someone's stock for a photomanip of mine and since I told her it was going to stay on DA she didn't have a problem with it. Until someone posted it on thier website as a banner without my or her permission. Of course someone else told her about it and recognizing it as my artwork she got pissed at me before she realized that I had neither posted it nor given permission for it to be posted.

For all you assholes who steal other people's work. Most of us have are own jobs, pets, kids, whatever and etc... then we come home and draw, manip, take pics of, write or however else we decide to do art with. We don't get paid except for those who sell prints and I'm betting they're not getting rich off it either. Lots of us spend hours or even days, and I've known others to even spend months on our art.

Then some lazy jackass steals it and claims it thier own. The aforementioned ass even complained that since it's on a website I shouldn't get mad for them stealing it. HELLO! It's there because either we want to improve and so we need people to comment or because... did you ever think of this.... we just want someone to say 'good job' or 'nice work'. Fact of life is people like to be appreciated. We work hard to come up with art that can be appreciated. Some of us *like myself* aren't good at much else. I can do art, horseback riding...not much else practical.

Google is the answer to every problem!

haha, I finally found it. There was a book I read prehaps 3, 4 years ago. I could remember that it was a good book and that one of the characters was called Sham. And the cover, having a photographic memory. None of tis is vrey helpful in looking for the book if you try finding it in a store.... I googled it. found a list of fantasy authors but I wasn't going through each and every one of them so I google imaged it. Found a pic of the cover and now I have the author and name of the book. Yay!!! Ironically, when I went searching at the store through the authors I do know (simply cause I read so many of their books already and the name stuck)the book came up. They had done a remake of the cover art and so I didn't recognize it. I knew I'd read it because I had read all her books to date but it didn't have the same front cover so I skipped it. Why do they do that anyway when the original cover art was just fine (and usually better then what they come up with afterwards)?

A little help finding something

Mon Apr 20, 2009, 12:03 AM
Kay, changed my mind for the good vs evil contest. Going to make different pic....

I need help finding a picture of a horse, as near to pure white as possible. I want the horse to be standing. I don't care if one hoof is off the ground SLIGHTLY. The horse I want should have it's head up. My basic image is that of a girl reaching out to this horse whom, for whatever reason be he afraid of her or just not liking being pet has his head up as far as it will go from her without giving up ground. similar to how a horse who's either headshy or not used to people contact will shy from someone who trys to touch thier head.

Please please send me some pics via note or comment, whatever.
